280c antifreeze in motor

ok. where to start. havent started my 70 280c in about 6 months. i knew i had a leak in radiator. after 6 months of sitting she started fine. ran for about 2 minutes. turned her off. repaired radiator. after i filled her with antifreeze i tried to start her again. she started for about 2 seconds then stopped. wouldnt start again. i took off the spark plugs and antifreeze came out from the to holes closest to the firewall. could this be something as simple as a head gasket, or could it be much worse. will i have to change the motor. please if you have some real knowledge about these inline 6s let me know what you think. dont want to send it out just yet because im afraid of what i might here. thanks guys

I would assume a head gasket until or unless I saw otherwise.

Where are you located? I am sure someone can recommend a good repair shop in your area.

This happened to me on a 71 220/8. I thought it was the head gasket but turned out to be a corroded cylinder head. Had to replace with a reconditioned head. The culprit was using water instead of coolant which was common practice in mediterranean countries a while back.
