Wheels from a C111

I've got a friend that's got some wheels that (as far as I'm aware) are the same as the C111.

If anyone knows anything about these AMG wheels, I'd like to know as much as possible.

ie: model, value, offset, rarity, etc...

I've attatched pictures of the wheels, and the C111...

Any help would be much appreciated!

Those don't look anything like the C111 wheels to me. I did a photo search and looked at different angles of C111 wheels, and still no resemblance.

Those are "standard issue" 80's AMG wheels in the 8x16 size, probably from a w126 since those wheels won't fit much else. The offset is either 11 based on what I know, or it's stamped on the inside of the wheel. If there are some numbers in there, post what they are and someone can tell you.

Since they are real AMG wheels, they have some value if cleaned up. You can sell them to me if you want.

Those wheels look like the authentic AMG "Penta" wheels from the 1980's.

They are pretty rare, and in the right enthusiast circles, you should have no problem selling them. They don't look to have kissed the curb at all either.

as far as fitment goes, they came off of a 107.

If they are the "Penta" wheels, what do you think they're worth?

I've searched around trying to find someone selling wheels like this, but I have found nothing.

Again, this is all for a friend. If anyone's interested in the wheels, let me know, and I'll pass the info onto him.

Thanks!

You really need to find the right buyer for wheels like this...they are probably the most 'dated' of the 80's Merc wheels, and it takes an enthusiast to appreciate that.

That said, I'd rock 'em!

Seems like the w123 AMGs had them to.
