Thinking of changing the SL

Since being in the world of SL's for the last 2 years, I now have a hankering for a '68-'71 280 SL. I really like my '83, but there is something about the older one the I really LOVE.
For God's sake...DON'T TELL MY WIFE.
I am quietly searching, but I think the $$$ issue will probably stop the new dream. I would have to spend at least double what I could get for mine. That ain't gonna happen. Damn kids. Why do they all need braces?? Why must they all go to university? Why must they eat??
Anyways, I will always enjoy my '83 and am lucky and happy to have it.

Yeah, a 113 is a very different ride than a 107 -- much closer to an actual sports car.

Is it bad that I understand how you feel?

Give it a couple of years. I am sure you can put a bit away every month and save up for your new toy.

Have a look at the values of 300SL's (W107) they have jumped up to the point where they get better money than new,so it's not just the W113 which is a big dollar car.
