You obviously still need to drive it and look around under the hood. Also, take a close look at the front suspension -- kingpins and control arm bushings in particular -- it's a big job and it's expensive. Better to spend $8K on a beautiful, low mileage car that's in great shape, than $4K on one that's kind of beat up and needs some paint, chrome, and interior work.

I had one of these. Memories include high performance response in highway conditions, great cornering at high speeds and gas guzzeling.

Most of the vehicles ARE for sale, for that matter, everyone has their price. They hold these "Swap Meets" every month. Check:

FYI, I wasn't interested in purchasing this vehicle, just appreciating it and sharing, for those who may be interested or looking for one.
