The day I got my car I took it in for an oil change and they had to track down the correct filter which took a while. I should have remembered this and made sure Penzoil had the right filter before I went in, but I didn't and they had the same problem of their book/computer telling them to use a filter that doesn't fit. So my question is: What is every brand and part number you know of that fits the OM617 engine? I will need to buy about 5 for future use. (My car is a 1976 300D, same engine as W123s, right?) Thanks!
