I'm looking for an original cold start-wiring diagram for a 1963 W111.
The Haynes manual describes that the time/ thermal switch is connected to the cold start valve on the intake manual. The single temp switch operates the cold start solenoid on the mechanical fuel pump. -- Well on my car it is obviously wired the opposite way. It appears to have come like this by the factory, unless somebody had remade the wiring harness. Hopefully I can find an original wiring diagram for my 1963 220 SEB W111 to verify what is correct.
Thanks Rolf

These electro-mechanicals are very basic,
the sensors can be removed, chilled/heated and tested with Ohmmeter.
Then relays can be tested from the sensor location.
and the activated solenoid can be next.
Do you have a visual where the parts are located?
I have boxes of spares for substitution testing
I pulled a W111 wiring assembly years ago, Saved it
I would have to find it, I would never dispose of it.
I don't lnow where the wiring chart is.
Is this the MFI with the cold start solenoid haning aft?
And the squirter on the side of the intake manifold?
