My dad bought one similar to that last year and it had less rust but was in about the same mechanical condition, I think he paid about 500-600USD$. We can't wait to get started on it this summer. He has already started on the interior by making new seat covers.

Sounds good!!! I want to buy this car for 500.00 But people want a million dollars for anything they have. It is hard to find something that is a fair deal.

No kidding, I am just thankfull that most of the Vintage MB's aren't as expensive as some of the muscle cars these days. Watching Barrett-Jackson on speed channel is nuts, there are far too many people with too much money... or maybe I just wish I could spend 6figures on a car and not sweat it. I know that I would spend 200k on restoring my w108 if i could.
