<laugh> Do a general search for his name in this forum - the man is a piece of slime, and that's being polite!
If God rode in a Mercedes (and I'm sure He does), He would have ridden in my '65 220SEb. Beautiful little car, in need of some restoration. I hired The Thief Medill to do the job, and after delivering the car, plus buying parts and making a sizeable down payment, Thief took off with the car, my $$ and all the parts.
I've got a felony complaint out against the man, and I'm sure the car is gone for good.
Did you lose much $$? And have you had any contact with him?
about 400. got a hold of him a few times, made up all kind of excuses. lost his hearing, his sight.... attacked by a shark.... whatever. anyways i he ownes a resort of some kind in costa rica, and i have its phone number... i will get back to you though with that number. i think i might contact the portland police though, but i dought they will do anything
I had dealings with him a couple years ago when his father died (his excuse)..I eventually got my stuff a month later at a discount from the original price. SO that did defuse my anger. How is he now? I can't comment as this was a few years ago and if he was truthful had a good excuse at the time. Sort of glad I didn't get burned like you guys did. But I did get the idea he was less than stellar in the reputation department.
