I used it - see http://www.mbzponton.org/pax058/people/sokoloff/sokoloff.htm
but I think there are other products just as good and cheaper.

I used Dynamat extreme on the entire interior cab area on my Diesel truck....I worked wonders....before you had to scream to be heard now its almost as quiet as my honda inside....not as quiet and my Benzes but then its a far louder engine to begine with.

You won't go wrong with that product.

THere are cheaper alternatives I have not tried...such as FATMAT ....

Fatmat, that could be the one I heard about.

Thanks for the nice comments - car has been a lot of fun. I didn't go overboard with my car because with a cabriolet, it's going to be noisy anyway. Maybe with a sedan I might have used more of it.

The audio shop that does work on my cars has always used dynamatt but has resently changed to Hushmat and is getting better results and a bit less expensive. I am getting ready to redo the interior on my wife's BMW 318 and will be putting it everywhere to quieten that car down. Sounds like a tin can right now.

They are at hushmat.com

I've found FatMat and eDead, will look into HushMat. I really want something plain black instead of silver. I had my floors replaced many years back and they couldn't duplicate the original "felt like" lining on the floors. I was hoping to find something similar to dynamat but black.

Search first, ask second!
