Hey everyone

I was wondering, i've been told that the 280E engine from the 114's put out more power than the later model 280's from the W123s.

Could anyone tell me for sure what differences there are, all i know is that the 114's have a computerised fuel injection opposed to a standard fuel injection in the 123's.

Does anyone have some performance figures, like kw at the wheels, all i know is that my 280CE is standard 130kw at the flywheel. Im guessing with computerised fuel injection it would have about an extra 20kw or so.

Im looking to do an engine conversion later on.
