Well, the package arrived in the mail a while ago, and in addition to the badge itself (which is very nicely/solidly made), it also came with a letter from the manager of the MB Classic Center and a certificate in a hardbound cloth-covered presentation portfolio. They also included two catalogues from the Classic Center, with things like clothing, models, watches, and other accessories. MB obviously puts some money into these mileage awards, which is pretty impressive considering that they're free.
Honestly, the whole package is even nicer than the ones I've gotten with my medals from the Navy.
How do you get a mileage badge? Do you have to be the original owner?
Riquiscott / Abadox: Congratulations! Immediately put the badges on the grille and flaunt them! Hehehe!
dreamhawk: I don't think so. A friend of mind was able to get his mileage badge when he isn't the original owner of the car. What would be important is the proof that the car truly reached to that applied mileage. This would be thru service records/history that you could show (along side with the application form)
