Hey, "to each his own." I think the car looks cool; and its a lot better to see it like that than to see another finnie hit the junkyard!

PS: Those driving lamps must through a lot of light, yes?

With a set of normal steel wheels and silver hubcaps it would look spectacular.

Where did you get the driving lights for it? Are they an actual Mercedes part? I sorta like them.

i have pot on the steelwheels and hubcaps now (just for the winterseason)the drivinglite i dont now if its a mercades part but her in sweden almost everbody have them.
my next prodjekt this winter is to change engine and transmission to a 280e and automat from a 77a SE
i have already now mount power stearing and powerbrakes and the handling was WAY BETTER allso i change the seats from a 88 300 blue half skinn

Hey, I'm new to this forum, but have just purchased a '62 220S Finnie, and was thinking of adding driving lights like you have. Did you need to uprate the generator to run them? OR have you converted to an altenator, if so, how did you go about it?

i have change the generator to a newer one from a 300 84 i think so a get power to stereo and lights.
itt was a preatty easy thing to do.now a also have change clutch cylinder to a newer one the masterclutch from a 190 -86 and the slaveclutch from a 300 83 and after new year i will change from drumbrakes to discbreakes.

I think the body/paint are absolutely beautiful on your car! I like the look of it as well, mainly because it seems so strikingly different from what I've seen. That, and not a lot of people modify their Mercedes cars, so it's nice to see....mainly because I may be doing some changes and just trying to clear the path[:D]

1973 280C, Weber 38DGES carb conversion-GONE. 1983 380SEL-GONE.
