Electronic Fuel Injection Control unit

My 1973 450SL needs an electronic fuel injection control unit (the one that fits under the glove box).

I am having difficulty finding a used or rebuilt one. Do any of you have some leads for me?

ouch!!! I think I sell these things too cheap!.
An ordinary late model ECU is still over $900 US ,but the part for your SL is going to cost you a lot more!.
send an email to these guys, they speak english and have the parts at a more realistic price.

We have rebuilt units in stock for $595. See http://www.germanstar.net/108f.htm.

Under the glove box?

I have bought 2 at local "U Pull" dismantlers for $20 or less. I bought them as emergency spares for my 3.5. It ran fine with either but they are to carry with me to get me home if my original craps out. Check your local U pull. Alot of people have dead 4.5's carted off.
