Decisions Decisions

First off, Im looking for a Benz.

I've narrowed my choices down to several distinct models.

I'd like others to voice their opinions.

My considerations in no particular order are:
1) 460-series Gelaendewagen SWB hardtop
2) 220/250/280/300 se coupe .. 4.5
3) 380SEC 81-85 w/ upgraded double timing chain
4) 450SL 72-80

not sure how to add photo's.

But here is what i am considering in CDN dollars:

1966 MERCEDES-BENZ 300SECoupe, 2 dr, 8 cyl, Gas, 3 spd, This classic has sophisticated understated styling with much eye-appeal. Updated with 4.5litre drivetrain. Lots of power and reliability. Power windows, power sunroof, power steering and brakes. Air suspension.. $21900. Call European Specialty 250-758-3288

1982 MERCEDES-BENZ 380SEC, 314000 km, Rare! clean well maintained Island car, RWD, fully loaded, 4spd automatic, upgraded double timing chain, newer tires, tie rods, brakes, battery, alternator, undercoated, Alloy whls, air, sunroof, bucket leather htd seats & more!, $7100.

1984
280GE 4 spd Automatic
price: 12500
add: 280 in great shape. Interior is like new,
engine runs excellent, call for more information
or pictures.

1975 MERCEDES-BENZ 450SL CONVERTIBLE, 135000 miles, blk ext, blk lthr int, excellent cond, rated 9 out of 10, all options, garage kept, summer driven, no rust, Euro alloy wheels, new tires, must see., $13800 obo.

RE: Decisions Decisions

I'd go with the G-Wagen.

RE: Decisions Decisions

yeah, I was pretty close to getting the Gwagen.

But the car has rust near the back bumper area - therefore it wouldn't be very presentable.

I am considering a 1970 280SE now, it is $4900.
