1975 230 mercedes 4cyl gas VDO part

I have a VDO part Its electrical has eight wires that runs to it and it is mounted on the inside of the drivers side fender well. It is mounted next to another electrical part the # of thei part is
#0015422519 I cant find out what this is so I can order one I tried VDO and several parts places on interner # does not show any matches. Thx[:(]
