Need advice buying 1958 210 se

Im looking at a 1958 210 se which is what they told me. however i dont see it anywhere, i think its not realy 210. does anyone know if these existed. the cars located in canada. im able to buy this car for 700$ canadian, with a workign motor and trans, just need to put on the motor in the engine bay. before i purchase this. where can i find parts? do i have to manufacture them myself? im planing on fixing this on my spare time over the years, because i know i will regret not buying it one day when i have some more money on hand. (im only 20).
so can anyone please give advice about this vehical. its value. is it worth fixing? where to get parts? thanks for any help

As you suspected, there is no such car. Obtain and post the VIN, and I'll tell you what it really is (at least what it's supposed to be).

If it's an SE, it's got to be a 220SE.

Join about 350 other ponton owners at http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/ponton/ and take a look around the Ponton Page, http://www.mbzponton.org/. Lots of good help and info on both pages.
