...just thought i'd let the group know that my deal on the 250s fell apart..so Im back to the drawing boards...looking for a 250se coupe or a 280se coupe...w111 bodystyle....but may also consider w108...sedan if its a great car....
..so there you have it...ohhhh and may consider trading my 88 bmw 635csi..cirrus blue..145k miles..beautiful car..one of the few where everything works on it ...let me know if youre interested..

.hey flyboy...thanks..that is a beautiful w108..but it being in florida..and me in Calif..makes it difficult...I really need to do an inspection before I buy a car..even one with that low a mileage..you just never know..
..now if that car were out here...it would be gone..but..once you add the travel cost to inspect it...the cost of the PPI at a local MB shop..then the price of the car..and then the expense of shipping it out here..it prices it too high..

Ventura...IKE's got great taste!!! Believe me! He just came over to my house the other day w/ a gorgeous 280e. I can say that my travels to other parts of the country have been some of the most fun ever in my life in buying rare cars!! I just bought a r107 1975 450SL over the phone after seeing multiple pics and long conversation w/ the owner and i dont think twice about that kind of thing because all you got to do is read if your talking to a person who just pumps gas, or one that is an enthusiast which i will buy from any day. Add $1k to your price of your car and it wont kill a guy and its a blast to drive em home!!
