In a pickle: making two w108's into one

Hi, I posted before with a transmission problem with my 1968 250s. The body is very good (good trim, good paint, no accidents, minor dings)on this 250s but the transmission and interior will need work. I recently bought a 1968 280s as a parts car. It was in a frontend collision but the engine+transmission are safe with no leaks, only 108K of usage and a very good interior (dents and dings allover the body). Body colors happen to be the same. I fear the frame may be damaged but it drives straight.
The question is which way to proceed? Should I swap engine+trans+interior from the 280s into the 250s? I would be able to do the interior but the engine+trans would be comissioned out. Or do I have body parts grafted from the 250s onto the 280s and then fix dings/dents/trim/paint?
A third possible alternative is to have the transmissions swapped and I can play with the interiors. I really like the difference in power between the 280 vs 250 however so I would like the engine swap.
Either way is worthwhile because I should end up with one complete car and a lot of very good parts.
Any opinions?

Swap your good engine into the good body, swap over the badge on the trunk lid and you have a good car.Everything interchanges, but don't forget the front suspension rubber bushes, while the engine is out it is the oppurtune time to replace them.
