RE: Solex to Weber Carb Conversion, where to buy???!
I sold all my weber stuff on ebay, including two of those weber books published in the 60's.they are the definitive work on webers, you can surf the web for years and never find the same quality of info.In fact I've seen a lot of stuff in various sites that was plagiarised from them.
But ,you will never find a weber to fit the M110 engine, they never ever made a spread bore 4 barrell like the solex.
There was however a kit for the m115 engine which used a solex side draft single barrell and swapped in a common weber progressive two barrel carb.
Go for the holley!!,as vanir said, just pull the manifold and get any competant machine shop to fit your carb.it's been done here in OZ thousands of times .I have had a few 280's with the holley set up.Or buy am edelbrock, you will find that if you contact edelbrock they will have info as to setting up the carb, which i think they do for you any way.
Side draft DCOE's would look great and can be set up by any weber specialist ,but at 300-500 dollars each second hand you had better be prepared to spend[}:)]
