That's a beauty. Nice colour paint. Nice interior too, same colour as mine (280SE 116 Euro) - is that MB Tex or leather? How does the performance compare with a 450 auto?

RE: '78 350 SEL 4-SPEED MANUAL! Yee haaa!

Hi hawaiiguy, Im dexter from the Philippines. I own a 1975 W116 350SE Stick shift also. Its in PRESERVED condition, absolutely no rust, no body repair done yet. It has a ziebart rustproof already when I got it then I installed an electronic rustproofing device for better assurance. I bet its the newest looking W116 in the country. Same interior color as yours though mine comes with conventional manual windows and locks. Original airconditioning system. And I recently discovered its emergency kit to be left untoughed with the original contents sealed inside.
Im glad to hear somebody else still appreciate stick shift, I almost couldn't because of traffic here in Manila. I took her out once in a while now that I'm finished putting everything back, especially the engine and transmission, in perfect performance (not to mention I spend a fortune for being meticulous and detailed when it comes to cars). For everyday use, I drive my W115 230.4 automatic tranny. Kinda appreciate the latter more for comfort in traffic.
Sorry don't have pics, im somewhat computer illiterate. Have Fun.[:)]
