getting parts (head) for a 220sb?

Hi there,

I'm a refugee from the unimog forum. I have a 404.1 with the M180 engine in it.

Those in the know tell me I can do a virtual straight swap from my low comp head to one from a 220sb and get better compresion and performance.

So, is it likely to be possible, or are these "proper" vintage, with associated prices?

Im the UK (Manchester).

Thanks all,

I see them here in Australia (check aussie ebay) for a pittance, you could try John Green at as he's always wrecking W111.i just sold a complete 220S/b for $30 on eBay which had a brand new head.[:)]
