Hi guy's n gals,

I need your help
I've aquired a really nice little 250SL pagoda. Great little car and not in to bad condition.
Heres the thing, its a 2+2 model (no roof, only hardtop)where can I find the mechanisms to convert it to a soft top, I realise that i'm going to have to remove the back seat, thats no worries.
Next thing, its a 4spd manual knowing that a ZF 5 spd box was available as an extra, where would you be able to get a ZF box?
Theres a couple of other things that im looking for at the moment but that can wait

Will post pics when the car has arrived!!

Thanks everyone

I think 3 is enough? Should really be even numbers...

Great! Those really hold their value well. Any money you spend on it will be worth the effort down the line. Plus its a convertible! Isn't it summer there now?

Congratulations, it's a fun car. The coupe can be converted to a roadster, but it's an expensive procedure. One US shop that sells the components is As for the 5-speed tranny, one can expect to pay around $5000 US for one, if it can be found. They are extremely rare, and parts are scarce for it as well. Come join the International Pagoda Club and you can learn more from fellow owners from all over the world, including Australia.

Good luck,
