RE: 67 200 Gas- I need links, parts suppliers, etc... HELP?!
I'm surprised the Mercedes dealer couldn't help you. Mercedes has a surprising amount of parts available for those old cars. I suspect the dealer just didn't want to deal with that old of a car. I know their electronic parts catalog covers your car.
Forget about going to local auto parts stores. They will just look at you funny. Surfing the internet should yield some parts suppliers. Look under "Mercedes parts" and "European car parts" on Yahoo. Also search for "Mercedes forum", as many, including this one, sell parts. You may have to call them as they probably don't list the parts for your car on the internet, as they are not as highly collectable like a SL or coupe. Pick up a copy of Hemmings Motor News at a bookstore. There are many reputable parts dealers that advertise there.
There were a lot of the W110 body cars made, and many parts interchange with the W111 chassis and a few other models. Though the gas models are not as common as a diesel, I would bet engine parts are still available. And most of the rest of the car will be the same as a diesel 200D.
