vin issues

Hi i am having issues with my vin i have tried to enter it at the mbusa site and it said i needed to enter a valid vin! it is printed on the car in numerous locations. Becuase it is not a 17 digit vin i can't find any information on it anywhere. if anyone can help or has info on search please let me know. VIN number is

That's the chassis number. The VIN should be on the drivers side A pillar.


116.024 is the model

12 is auto trans

090617 is the sequence number

RE: vin issues will only accept you vin if its a late model car. More of a marketing hype than anything else. But you can go to and send your vin to them. They will email the data card for your car. Has detailed info on your car.

Norb is right on. email the guys at MB Classic and they'll get you all the info you need. takes about 1-2 days turnaround.
