Yeah, sure , what I was getting at is both my 250 sedans have the short rear bumpers. Like this one . Maybe its just a pre facelift thing ,,,, anyone?

Dusty`NZ: thanks, I like the wheel trim too. It´s similar to those used on the fins, except it´s 14". All crome too

I´m not sure but I think the 280S also has the same style rear bumper as I do.

It´s not a myth, 250CE really DO exist!!

cant seem to find any bumpers around here. its the bumper that wraps around the quarter panel all the way to the wheel well, and not the big bulky american one. thanks

Of COURSE they exist ! they're darn good cars too , the Bosch D-Jetronic fuel injection wakes up that old motor quite well .

Not a whole lot of them sold in the U.S. though .

I was trying to close up the deal on a Mandarin Red one but it got away

Congrats. I have a 73 280C. Really nice car from California. I have had it about 10 years. It runs great but the solex carb bogs a lot. Handels well and is quick. I like to see younger people drive these cars. I think they are timeless classics. It turns a lot of heads at cafes and coffee shops. Good luck and enjoy
