It's good enough, I have a 4 speed manual in 2 280CE's over here. They are the only two that I know of in the country as the injected cars were never officially imported into the US and the US cars only got automatics.

With best regards

yeah. Luckily Australia got the fuel injected 2.8s in the /8 chassis.
It's a little odd though, because they brought out the w114s, then the w115 diesels, then they brought out the 280E which is the m110 in the w115 chassis, but it's called a w114 still...

I know it's the w115 chassis because of the bumpers and the grille. My grille is wider than other w114s, just like the w115...

Start work on this old girl shortly. Full strip and paint. Interior re-trim and an Eaton M90 powered M110.

The W114 and W115 looks the same. The W114 was the 6 cyl and the W115 was the 4 and 5 cylinder cars. Apparently the W115 had more spot welds as it was designed for harder work such as taxi service. But they look alike and both got a face lift in 73-74.

Bagged, chromed and a few other goodies...

Check out the full story on "Grandpa to lowrider" topic. Also why dont we have our own area for 114/115? Seem to be getting more popular again.
