I have a '71 250 Sedan. August will be 2 years, we bought the car when i was 14. The car has original paint from the a-pillar back. The car runs great except i cant get the car to shift into 4th, i hit 85 and it stays there and wont go faster or shift. The Zenith Carbs work but their a pain in the A*S to get fixed in the first place. Anyone with the 2.8L with dual carbs be careful if you take the carbs apart, there are two choke springs and two gaskets and they only go back one way. Mine were switched which led to hard starting, dead spots when accelerating and constant stalling. The interior is in pretty good shape the carpets have been slightly abused and need to be replaced. But the seats in total have 2 tears. The walnut needs to be refinished. Question which would look better with a blue interior the zebra wood or the walnut?? Also how hard is it to convert a car to the euro style headlights from the ugly american ones?? And does anyone have any for sale that aren't like $600?? The pics are a little old the car now wears Uniroyal White Walls, the hideous bumperettes are gone off the front and back, and i also have put the original metal grille insert in, the pic shows and aftermarket plastic one. Does anyone know when you ordered the car with white walls were the wide whites or narrow ones??
