Mercedes 250 S 1973

Hi everybody,

Do anyone has any information about a 1973 250 S Sedan?? Is it a good car?? is there any trouble with the carburator??

I´ll appreciate any info.

Great cars - a note of caution on the bodies.

Some 250S actually have the 2.8L engine instead of the 2.5L, confirm on the block.

Carbs are no big deal, pretty sturdy and considered advanced for carbs. I believe "S" models have 2 carbs.

Thanks for the info. The car is from my cousin Fernando, he bought it from the Japan embassy here in Peru.

It is in very good condition, white with blue interior, automatic, and with all original parts on it. The only problem is the fuel consumption, it has 2 carbs.

Any othe info about it?? He is going to live abroad and has offer it to me for US$ 2,000
