250SE Oil Leak and Door Problem
I have a 1967 250 SE Automatic sedan, and its a pretty rough looking car right now, but its fundamentally straight, for 50 dollars I have a nice running car. I replaced the frt brakes, and both doors on pass, side. But one of the doors is from a 72 300 SEL, which seems to have different latch and hangs a few cm too low. Do I need to switch hinges, does anyone have any experience with this?
Also, the engine is on about 200 miles on a new rebuild. its in great shape and running nicely, but oil is leaking out of one of the bolts on the top of the valve cover. Do I need to torque wrench these down to a certain spec?
Anyone who can provide me with direct answers, or give me a place where to best post mechanical questions about this car, if this is the wrong forum, I'd appreciate it
