My W108 picture taken when I picked it up at David Morris Fine Cars, a Mercedes-Benz dealership in Edmonton, Canada, where I bought it for just $2,000 Canadian.

4.5 is not current and that image is before it's repaint.

1965 190D

I wanted to add our 1965 190D, runs and drives, but pre restoration. If anyone knows the best way to replace / repair floor pans on this model please let me know.

My first vintage Benz, a '62 220SE Coupe. I owned a 1957 Cadillac before, but this car is light years ahead of that Caddy. If this car had an airbag and lost it's lovely ivory steering wheel I would almost consider it a new vehicle in terms of design and layout (in restored shape of course).

Looks like it would fit on the '62 220 SE pictured above (beautiful car). Would like to know if this grill will fit a series of cars, or one specific year etc. What is the best way to place for sale, and for how much.

Hi, if there is a part number on the back side of the grille that will be the best way to find out what it fits. You could post the number in the vintage forum and possibly someone can cross check for you to see what models it fits. Checking eBay will give you a good general idea of prices, not too high but depends largely on condition. You might even consider selling the badge and radiator "cap" base for the star separate, some people need just individual parts. Even the bars on the grille and the insert can be taken off individually. You can use very fine "0000" grade steel wool on this chrome to clean it up and see what you've got underneath.
