This is my Nineteen Hundred and Sixty Nine, Two Twenty D. I know some people hate it, but I am the second owner. Sat in a barn since 1986, Ive had it about a year and these are the first photos of it since I got everything working, and cleaned. Shes a good car.

Ah so, easy to get to sparking plugs to. Must be nice to have such a beautiful Benz, makes a person proud to be seen in in...by those who know MBs. I've heard some horror stores about mice and wiring. Hope you didn't verify that. Thanks for posting.

Mercedes Benz 207 D (Bremen Transporter van)-based motorhome manufactured by german firm Hymer.
1982. Maybe too young for this area of the fora, but already vintage, according to the Italian law (yes, I'm Italian).

I have it since 2003. It has had only another owner, from 1982 to 2003. And... no, it's not very common. I have seen only another one. But the brand here in Europe is the no. 1 manufacturer in terms of volumes, so it' quite common to see Hymer RV, even as old (or older) as mine.
It only has 167.000 km (approx 100.000 miles) and runs smoothly as if it just came out of the factory....
The 1980s MB diesels are all well known for their reliability. Probably not for their performances... it's 2.800 kg for only 67 hp (DIN).
But when I drive it, I'm on holiday, so... what's the problem?

I was just wondering, sounds pretty reliable, good luck with it.
