I would like to have an original interior picture of 280 S (W 108) 1969 for my reference to rebuild my car.
Please send me the pictures if you have some. Thank you
nice car guys, how often do you guys drive your vintage cars
I just gotta say , that where I am , driving a 30+ yr old car is not at all unusual and definately not considered vintage, they are just old cars , those that survive just get driven some more . So the diesels get lots of miles every week.
Now my work truck , its a '40 Chev pickup, thats nearer vintage , but it's still a great tool and gets used weekly when I can or when I need to.

They wouldn't be considered Vintage here either really. Although they can be tagged as Antique, legally at 25 years that is mostly for purposes of avoiding taxes and such on a car you don't drive to anything but shows or parades. So its not practical to do it unless it fits. Mine is intended to get driven every weekday that it is not nice enough Weather to ride the bike or I don't need the truck to haul something big that day. Which will be most of the days in the winter and rainy stormy days of the week during Spring Summer and Fall. Its not a show car for sure. Its a daily driver so to speak.
