Sorry, to fast typing and not careful enough proof reading. I meant a poll.
For example I could put in 3 color combos and let the members vote on the choices.

You can do that--rather easily, in fact. If you want a poll in this forum just go to the bottom of this page and click GO in the Jump Forum menu. That will take you to the top of this forum where you can click on New Post. At the bottom of that screen you will see a box to Post A Poll. Put a check mark in it and hit Submit Reply, and voilą.

70 280SL and 3.5 cab project

Here are a few shots of my two older MB's

1970 280SL restored 6 years ago.
A little dirty I know

With it's favorite passenger on board

Here is my latest project car a 71 3.5 cab
Coming back from the painters with the parts car ( a 71 3.5 coupe)

Some shots of the work

A color combo the restorer is pushing. What do you think about it. I personally think I like a light Grey with the dark blue top.

love your SLs

that blue/red combo is going to be hard on the eyes. red somewhat goes with darker colors like blank

Id go with your light grey color - more saleable should you decide to sell

Here are couple of not so great shots of 2 of my cars. I do not have any of my 6.9 yet.

They look great. Did you do the 220 yourself?

The 280 is a nice original CA car that has never been restored. The 220 had a ground up restoration in the mid 80's. It was still very correct and fresh when I bought it last year. All I have done is a tune up, 14' wheels and Euro lights. I am not wild about the outside color, but the read leather is amazing. I might color change it to black someday.

Dear mercnmini, I'm considering to acquire a 1967 250 SE and just found the pictures of your 300 SE. I was wondering if you could post some more pictures, specially from the interior (mainly panel and air conditioning) as I need some more information to assess the car I'm considering.

Thanks in advance

Beautiful! This is the same color combo as my mom's 1979 300D. So, so melancholic.

My 6.3

Here are some shots of my '70 300SEL 6.3, a 300SEL that rides at the correct height :-).

My daughter is convinced the RKT in the license plate stands for Rocket.

Ciao for now,
