I thought this was to be a vintage fourm? I will post a fitting Vintage car[:)]

You americans have a twisted view of vintage!.. in the UK, classic cars are over 25 years old, vintage cars are generally over 75 years old!...

v.nice SL, Im exceptionally jealous [8)]
our country is only 228 years old... but we still run the world.

Hey George, What is with the ride height of your burgundy (?) 280 SE 4.5?

Looks a wee bit tall in the saddle I'd say.

I don't know? My grandfather bought the car new in 1972 in potomac md. when he died my father got the car, and I recently got it from my father. As far as I know he hasn't had any shocks or springs put on it.
I just got the car so I'm still getting to know it. What do you consider the saddle? front ,rear or middle? Its definitly a 72' 280 se 4.5 though.
Thanks for the reply,George

also I call the color maroon, but its official color may be burgandy . I dont know? I'll let one of the experts make the call.
