adjusting steering box play on a 1978 450SLC

Hi folks,
I looked around the steering box and could not find an adjustment screw... I thought they are located on the top and have like a hex center and something like a 17mm counter nut...?
The only bold I found was the one for the oil release...

BTW... I already adjusted the steering coupling.. so I just need to adjust the play a little...
could anyone tell me how to adjust it?

I don't know the answer to your question, but I too have a '78 450slc and would appreciate knowing the answer. Let me know what you find out.
