vacuum for AC evacuation

Hi folks,
quick question,
I am going to replace my dryer/receiver and remove the oil from the AC compressor since I am going to change over to R134a .....
now.. how much vacuum do I need??
Is 982mBar (~29inch on the mercury scale) enough?
I am not looking for perfect.. just good will do ;-)

Thanks, Mike

RE: vacuum for AC evacuation

Hi teky,
great thanks.
One question though remains... after I broke the system open and replaced the dryer/receiver.. how much negative pressure (evacuate) do I need? Is ~ -930mBar enough?

Thanks, Mike
