Anybody have a W114 250C or 280C in Southern Cal?

A couple of weeks ago I met a photographer, Fred Larimer, working on his second book, a Mercedes Buyer's Guide. I met him through a MBCA forum. He came to my home to shoot my SLK32 for his book. The shoot went so well, I offered to help locate the remaining vehicles on his list.

The one car Fred has told me he really wants to shoot for his book is the W114 280C. If you are in Southern California, have a 280C or any of the cars on the list and want to share your pride and joy with the rest of the world, why not have it photographed for the book.

If you'd like to participate, you can contact me through pm or e-mail for more information and I can hook you up with Fred. Or check out this thread on the MBCA site and you can contact Fred directly.

Here are the cars still needed based on my last conversation with Fred:
W114 - 1969 to 1976 250C or 280C
R129 - 1993 to 2001 600SL or SL600
W208 - 2001 to 2002 CLK55 AMG coupe or cab
W123 - 1979 to 1981 280CE
W140 - 1993 to 1999 600SEC or S600 or CL600

Fred's first book is a BMW buyer's guide. Check it out on Amazon, BMW Buyer's Guide.

I have a 1976 280 c in Las Vegas if he ever comes here I'd be happy to let him shoot the car.
