GOING TO BUY A MERCEDES

HELLO, I HAVE DECIDED TO BUY A MERCEDES BENZ,
I LIKE THE 1973 190E, HOWEVER I WANT A MERCEDES THAT WILL TAKE ME TO 500,000 MILES.

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE 190E AND WHAT MERCEDES WOULD YOU RECOMMEND INSTED OF THE 190E ?

ALSO, HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT BUYING A MERCEDES OFF EBAY MOTORS ?

I'm afraid you missed by 11 years. 1984 was the first year for the 190E.

i have the 230e and its underpowered. so imagine what how fast you will be going in a 190e.

MY CAR KILLS THE ENVIROMENT! 1 TREE AT A TIME!

What's magic about a 190E? You ought to be able to find one for not much, but if I was spending not much, I wouldn't spend it on a Mercedes.

Sounds like a 70's era 300D may be more what you're looking for, diesel will run forever and those cars, if well maintained, are tanks.

There is an old saying that goes "The most expensive car you will ever buy will be a cheap Mercedes!" Parts are expensive regardless of year. If you want a cheap car to drive I would suggest a HONDA. At least when it breaks you can remove your license tag and go buy another one. E-bay cars are hit or miss and only consider half of what the seller says to be true. They are on E-bay often because no one else would buy it locally.
