Question V220 Idle adjustment

Hi Guys

New to the forum and have tried searching for idle speed adjustment for 1999 V220 Diesel but no luck so far. Can any one enlighten me as to what the idle speed should be and how to raise it?

Many Thanks

Shoboshi

You can't adjust the idle speed as such on these it's all controlled by computer. If it's too low, something else is wrong.

Thanks for the reply.

I asked my local dealer who said the same thing.

I did raise it slightly by taking up slack on the throttle cable, not a huge amount but enough to stop the rumble.

Thanks again.

Getting rid of the slack is a winner for better throttle response.
