| snapped key blade
Hi All,
I did something really stoopid, i somehow managed to snap my key blade inside the ignition barrel of the car.
Luckily the barrel still turns when i put the remaining stump of the key in, so i can still use the car for now, but it's not ideal.
Does anybody know who sells key blades other than the stealerships, they want £40ish + VAT for a new blade only.
At least i know that the fob/immob is all still OK since the van still starts, ideally i'd like to get a replacement blade rather than an old key without transponder/alarm remote and have everything back to normal. I see somebody on evil bay sells blades, but only for what looks like a W639 and not the W638 that i have.
