Fuel Additives - FORTE ADVANCED DIESEL TREATMENT

Just had my 112CDI serviced and MOTd...

Asked the garage about injector cleaning and general carbon/black smoke issues (she doesn't puff out a lotta smoke but there's a wee bit from cold startup) - the garage seemed hesitant about doing anything with the injectors...basically following the old rule "if it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

They did suggest however using a bottle of FORTE ADVANCED DIESEL TREATMENT adding it to about half a tank of diesel...

I've just poured the stuff in and am now contemplating how this 'magic juice' will perform.

Has anyone used this stuff? What can I expect?

Expectant Fuzz

Dont think it does much good (or harm) on common rail diesel engines due to injection system design.

I've used this now on a couple of cars including my '99 C 220cdi which has done 166k and as far as I can tell it works remarably well. Also even tho' it is supposed to be 'trade' only the tech boys at Forte are remarkably helpful.
