hi all.
garage quoted 1500 quiid to do all 4 injectors and the glow plugs.
not gonna spend that.

more money wasted.
i hate this van .
cant afford that sort of money.

i got that same problem too, the engine doesnt go beyond 3000 RPM, but when you turn it off and on. it's alright again. I changed fuel filter and now it goes beyond 3000 RPM.
You could check if your fuel filter needs to be changed by looking at the fuel hoses. When the engine is running, have somebody accelerate the engine (be sure to check that the transmission is neutral before doing this) and check if you could see gaps on the fuel line, like air gaps, air gaps = fuel starvation. you might need a new fuel filter or you need to check your hoses for air getting into the system.
although the engine runs smoother now, my vito is still limp. my next step is to check on the transmission. how do we check the ATF level for the transmission? i cant find any dipstick. My parts dealer told me to change the transmission filter as well, but i could not locate the filter. Help!
