Hi guys, I am now taking orders for LED lights. I bought some and fixed them to my Audi A2 which some of you may remember I rebuilt. This has been very popular and as I am placing orders for other vehicles I thought I'd let you guys in on it too!
I haven't got any left like the ones on my Audi at the moment, otherwise I would have fitted some on my V Class, but will be ordering more very soon...
Let me know lads
Regards

There's a place in Oz that's selling similar looking gear, are you reselling or customising them in any way?
am curious as I have combination LED/XENONs on mine and they're hyper flashing so am curious as to whether you're using a sep LED modified flasher relay or using the special inline resistors that some shops sell. (even if they're not flasher units, they have a tendency to make the mercs electrics go a bit whacky)

Hi mate, I bought some in for testing and put them on my little Audi, they go straight in and don't have any resistors etc, no flashing issues either. I have simply wired them in to the little side light wiring with no problems at all. I have them mounted inside the headlamp, but as they are waterproof you can simply stick them outside.
I replaced the park lights and front flashers with white LEDs and they certainly make a visible difference. but, as soon as I replace the front fender flashers (the small side slide panels) the relay goes bananas...
all rear tailights are replacement LEDs as well.
it obviously doesn't like the voltage change.
anyone know whether there is a OEM tailight lens cover replacement avail? (I was impressed with one of the earlier "how to's" on LED mods for the tailights, but am not that keen on smashing them to do the full insert.

OK, I take it your referring to the small indicator on the front wings, do this, replace only on one side say for example the drivers side with the LED replacement, turn ignition on and test the PASSENGER side, it should flash at normal speed, and then try the drivers side which will flash more than twice the normal rate. By doing this you have proved that there is not enough load and the system simply thinks theres a blown lamp, to get over this you need a load resistor, or simply connect the led in ADDITION to the bulb and drop the bulb behind where the light from it cannot be seen (as my mate did )

Sarge, as it stands the van has
rear combo brake lights - LED
rear indicators - LED
reversing lights - LED
fog - LED (although my fog lights front and rear are inop - one of the further mysteries of merc electrics
front parkers - LED
front indicators - LED
cabin interior rear - LED
cab interior front - LED
When I add a LED into the LHS wing indicator the relay sounds like a high speed zipper. (I haven't tried the RHS drivers side - but going on your comments it would probably sound like a canvas tearing!)
all indicator/flashers are operating at hyper flash rate.
I then have the usual Merc problem of fading dash lights on the odometer side of the binnacle....
