The compressor on my V class is gone and was wondering if there is anyway to use an air line to manually raise the rear as it is only sitting about 1 inch off my back tyres and dont want to destroy either the tyres or the inner wing. Cheers

You'd have to disconnect the air lines to the compressor and attach a new valve kit to manually pump up and depress the suspension level - check out V Klasse website as I remember them selling the kit a few years ago. Also, do a search here and you will find helpful info in this respect.

Cheers, i have managed to get under the car and have found out I already have a manual kit fitted (blue and yellow pipe into T pice then another piece to manual valve) but now the problem is I still cant get the suspension to rise, I have attached an air line in the local garage and once it gets to 55 PSI it stops, anyone know what PSI the compressor works at for the suspension?
Hi I normally put in 80/90 psi at the local sainsburys as that is as far as it will go, but if you are fully load the van wit people and luggage say you may want to put in as much as 100psi.
When I naged to get under mine I noticed that it also had a cable tie where there shouldnt be so the last owner must have really had some problems, but happy enough with the manual kit that is on it. but the bloody thing failed its MOT on drop links and a few other bits so I am now £275 lighter.
