intermittent gearbox problem
Last week my battery went flat because the boot wasnt closed properly and all the interior lights were on all night, now after charging and putting the battery back in i am getting an intermittent gearbox problem. The gearbox light will flash to let me know there is a problem, if i try to start it anyway the car just stalls again, but if i turn the ignition off and on a few times the gearbox is fine. Anyone had this problem or can point me in the right direction for a fix? Cheers

have had the same problem, turned out to be the throttle body - not cheap though £495 + Vat

Yep, it turned out to be a short circuit in my starter wiring. After I rewired it, everything went OK.
