Nice to see you back Tanners! On the subject of getting better MPG, I have noticed a difference in my 113 since fitting a K&N air filter and Ecotek CB-26P fuel saver. The K&N was just over £40.00 & the Ecotek fuel saver was about £50.00. I did also have the throttle body smoothed (dressing), but that just helps with throttle response to be honest. I would certainly recommend going for an Ecotek CB-26P.

I was a bit doubtful about the Ecotek thingy working but it really does seem to help. I've included the link to Ecotek for you:

CB-26P

Just done some quick calculations and if you got it converted for £1500 then it would pay for itself within 20,000 miles, assuming you get 40 mpg and lpg/petrol costs what it does locally. As prices rise you'll save more so it will take less long. Even if it's not paid for itself by the time you come to sell it will put value on the vehicle.

Mine is an 80 litre where the spare wheel should be. You can get larger ones fitted inside.

Incidently, I've been reading good things about a local installer. LPG 4cyl OMVL /AC Multipoint Conversion in South Wales! on eBay, also, Other Cars, Cars, Cars, Parts Vehicles (end time 15-Jun-08 10:00:00 BST) People seem to travel from all over the UK to get to him. Only £1000 for a 4 cylinder and £1200 for a 6 cylinder. It's the same kit as is on mine which I believe Ian paid £1500 for, just for the parts.

I'm going to go see him about the misfire I currently have.

HIGHLY recommend that LPG installer. They spent over an hour diagnosing the roblem and wouldn't take any money as they couldn't find anything wrong with the LPG system. They recon it's an ignition system problem but have replaced the injectectors anyway just in case. Once it's running properly I'll test my ones and then have the choice of returning theirs or paying for them. Quality service.
