Hi all Well I've decided I can't keep ploughing such a large chunk of my hard earned into the beloved V280 so have now signed up for an LPG conversion
Just wondering if anyone has any views from their own experiences of doing likewise recently?
Sods law having bit the bullet and booked in, theres a bloody queue to get the sodding conversion for a month now

Just make sure they have done a V280 before and is not a protype!
Having done my own it is a big job to get the injectors in as there is no space to keep the tubes short enough.
When it's done post some pictures as I would like to see how they have done it.
If you can find my pictures on here you will see my old van converstion.

Hi Zenman, thanks for that
Well I thought all was a goer on this, but the company doing it have now cancelled as their suppliers reckon there is an issue with their equipement on V6 engines. Don't know what yet but will have to find someone else to do it Grrrr Was given the impression they'd done one before, but obviously they haven't!
Anyone know of a company who've successfully converted a V280? Prefereably in the south West of England????

I Put a FES Auto gas Dream 21 on mine and it was fine.
Give FES a call see if they can help.
It is a vw vr6 engine as you know so finding a kit is no problem but finding a fitter could be on the V class as it is so tight under there. FES Autogas - LPG- Conversions
