Is it Mercedes original, or after market. Had a similar 'locks bouncing open' problem with my aftermarket central locking. The wiring had gone where it runs through the rubber boot by the door hinges . I replaced both sides rather than work out which had gone. I needed 5 core cable, but could not get hold of any, so used 7 core trailer wire.

Other thing that make the locks bounce are dirt/corrosion on the sliding door contacts and the servos being positioned too close or far from the lock. You only have to move them a few millimetres for them to start bouncing. You'll obviously have to remove the door trims, disconnect the arm between the servo and the lock and then push & pull on the servo hook. If the bouncing stops then thats the servo thats positioned wrongly.

Nail it, there is a problem that occurs due to broken wiring through the boot between the doors as 4xpaws says, this happens on Mercs fitted system, and one of our forum friends recently discovered that the PASSENGER door boot had broken wires in it, strange he says as that door doesn't get used much?!

Clean the slider contacts first to eliminate these.

If you open a door ...say the drivers door, get a screw driver and use it to 'manually' lock the lock in the door shut potition, then try to lock it, to release the mechanism, simply use the door handle and it will click back in 'open' position.
Do this to each door and see what happens.
