sprinter diagnostic port

hi all
havent been on for a while.
Does anyone know where the sprinter diagnostic port is? I have a 1996 312d and thought it wa located by the bonnet release handle but the mercedes diag connector (Launch) wont fit it.

Jay at a guess have a look under the Passenger seat area, as this is where the Vito/V Class OBD 2 port is located....worth a look
