This is going into the van:
Bit geeky but it's a car PC with in dash VGA monitor and TV monitor thing.
Basically mines being converted into a camper. I currently have it stripped out as I am installing a heater in between the 2 front seats but here's a rundown of what I have done so far:
Installed leisure battery with split charge relay under the driver's seat.
Flourescent lighting front and back
300W 240V inverter with power under the front seat (2 sockets) and 1 at the back. Useful for charging phones, etc.
SMEV 911 cooker and sink.
Kitchen unit in the back.
Insulated the side and roof of the van with 8 mm fire retardent insulation
Sidelined and rooflined the van with grey cloth (bought from van conversion company).
Took out all the doorcards and remade them with ply (as they were knackered).
Installed Koller seat rails in the back and currently modding some Mazda Bongo seats as bed seats.
Took out double front seat and fitted single. Fitted swivel seats under the bases (front driver's side to go in, passenger fitted).
Car PC to go in.
Tinted side & back windows.
Carpeted the base of the van with blue bathroom carpet.
Respayed to get rust off (creeping back though
so there you go. When I get the heater fitted I will put my gear back in and get some shots. Externally you would never know (with the exception of the tint) that it's been changed. Stealth camper you see.
Edited to add: Oh, there's a fridge in there too!!! Keep the beers cold.
